MED Airport Application
About this project
MED Airport is an aviation application for Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport which runs on iOS, Android and BlackBerry devices. MED Airport has also support for smartwatches for Android and Apple. Watch applications work in compatible with the mobile application. The application has language support for Arabic and English. Passengers can manage their time effectively by being informed immediately about the departure and arrival times of the domestic/international flights of all airlines through Flight Info and they can also search your flight status.
Main features and navigation structure are:
- Smart Search: provides users to get results with related search and access all detail in app via search field quickly.
- My Flight: To be informed about their flights, passengers can also add their flight as alert and get recent status by push notification.
- Guide: Passenger Info, Location of Restaurants, Cafes, Lounges, Ticket Sale Offices, Lost & Found Offices, Check-in Counters, Information Desk, Bank & ATMs at the airport.
- Events / Announcements: News regarding events, activities and special days taking place at Madinah Airport.
- Shop & Dine: information about all the retail & duty-free stores at the airport.
- City Guide: Information about the most popular malls, museums, and restaurants in Madinah.
- Parking: Information about car parking facility at the airport.
- VIP Services: Lounge information and other special privileges can be found in VIP Services.
- Social Media: follow, get special offers and connect with the airport via Social Media.
- Contact: Contact information of the airport such as address, e-mail, phone number etc. and a message box to send comments to the airport are available in this section.
- Flights: Passengers can be informed instantly about the departure and arrival times of the domestic/international flights of all the airlines through "Flight Info" and you can also search your flight's status. Real time arrival and departure information (estimated time, airline information, status, delays, etc.)
- Currency Converter: helps passengers to see the currency exchange rates and lets the passengers to make calculations

- - Flight Track: Passengers can use MEDINE Airport’s real time flight tracker to track their flight to its destination.
- - Maps: Passengers can view maps of the terminal to find their way around.
- - Where is my car? : Passengers can take a photo of their car, add a reminder text and set a reminder for alert using their mobile device.
- - Car Park Calculator: Passengers can calculate the charge of parking via start and end time of parking via this menu.
